The GPX format is an extenuation of XML. XML is an open standard of the W3C. The GPX routes generated here can be freely exchanged amongst GPS devices of the same and different manufacturers.

GPS route files

Use this website to pre-plan your gas stops for a more time-efficient coast-to-coast trip. The stops are downloadable as a route in GPX (GPS eXchange) format. Download the stops you have selected into your GPS to save time finding your gas stops.
